Career Counselling

Choosing a career path or navigating a career change can feel overwhelming. Career counselling provides guidance, clarity, and practical strategies to help individuals make informed decisions about their education, employment, and professional goals.

Our career counselling services support individuals who are exploring career options, considering a transition, or looking to feel more confident and fulfilled in their work life.

Who Career Counselling Can Help:

Career counselling may be helpful for individuals who:

  • Are unsure about what career path to pursue

  • Feel stuck or dissatisfied in their current role

  • Are considering a career change

  • Are entering the workforce or returning after time away

  • Want to better understand their strengths, interests, and values

  • Need support developing a career plan or job search strategy

What to Expect

Career counselling is a collaborative and goal-oriented process focused on helping you move forward with clarity and confidence. Sessions may include:

  • Exploring your interests, values, strengths, and transferable skills

  • Identifying potential career paths aligned with your goals

  • Developing a practical career plan and next steps

  • Resume building and refining your professional profile

  • Interview preparation and practice

  • Strategizing your job search and networking approach

Your counsellor will work with you to develop actionable strategies that support both your short-term goals and long-term career growth.

Professional Expertise:

Career counselling is provided by a therapist who is also a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP). This specialized training ensures evidence-based career development support that integrates personal insight with practical employment strategies.

Our career counsellor is also certified to administer the Strong Interest Inventory®, a widely used and evidence-based career assessment tool developed from the foundations of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) framework. This assessment helps identify your interests and preferences, providing valuable insight into careers and work environments that may be a strong fit.

By combining formal assessment tools with individualized counselling, we address both the emotional and practical aspects of career decision-making, helping you build confidence while developing the tools needed to successfully pursue new opportunities.
