Youth & Adult Mental Health
Occupational Therapists (OTs) can help people of all ages - from children and youth, to adults and the elderly - with improving their mental health. OTs work with individuals (and families) to address the mental health related barriers affecting their participation in various life roles.
OT interventions focus on improving each clients function and independence through psychosocial, psychoeducational, cognitive as well as sensory, mindfulness, and exercise based approaches.
